Common questions

What do you mean by a community?

A community is a group of people you invite to share their thoughts and opinions on a specific topic or area. Each community has its own sign-up page, bespoke terms and conditions, and usage policy — all controlled by you. As the community manager, you decide who can join and which questions they receive.

What counts as a participant?

A participant is anyone invited to respond to questions in a community. You can remove or replace participants at any time.

How questions work

Each plan includes a set number of questions each month. Questions reset monthly and do not roll over.

Can I change plans later?

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. If you move to a plan with fewer communities, you'll be asked to reduce your number of active communities. We'll give you plenty of notice and the chance to download any data before anything is removed.

What is Opiner attribution?

Content created with Opiner may include a small “Made with Opiner” label when shared or published. This is removed on Enterprise plans.

Explain response retention

We retain your responses for review and sharing while your subscription is active, in line with your organisation's data policies. You can delete all data from Opiner at any time.
